A former traveling salesman, sales
manager, journeyman meat cutter, deli man and teacher,
Bob has dedicated the past twenty-five years of his life
to the creation of art and, in particular, bronze
sculptures. Inspired and motivated by a love of dance and
dancers, his work has been called organic, flowing,
touchable - as in "Is it all right to touch this?" Another strain of Booth's work is that of life cycles - the family, birth, death and mourning - and the conflict between these moving pieces and those celebrating dance-as-movement has led to an ongoing search for connections between the two. |
